Mark went home to tell them everything that just
happened. This was not a phone call he
wanted to make.
She just ran he tried to explain but you could hear them
shouting from the other end of the telephone.
There were no warning signs. I
have no idea where she went. She seemed
to be asking more and more questions. I
didn't even have time to sneak the drugs into the food. I don't know what to do. He explained, He was
terrified, his voice was cracking he was waiting for their reply; it seemed to
go quite on the other end of the phone, until the voice said we are coming
over. Stay at home.
Emily kept running till she couldn't run any more. Mark was so erratic she couldn't understand
why. She stopped for a second and looked
around, she couldn't see him maybe it would be alright to take a mini
break. I'll pop in a café have a coffee
catch my breath, she thought.
As she walking into the coffee shop, every person in there
stopped and looked at her for what seemed like a lifetime. All eyes on her as she walked through to find
a seat, everybody was still looking, Jesus she though, intense much.
She sat down and all of the staff was too scared to serve
her, what the hell. Can I have a coffee
please she asked politely. Within a
couple of minutes a nervous waitress came shaking, please finish quickly and
leave she whimpered. You’re not allowed
to be on your own she added.
What Emily replied, shocked, and grabbed the waitress. What’s that supposed to mean?
Do you know me? Do
you know what happened, I have no memory.
I don't know what happening, everything seems weird and off. Please help me.
Please leave me be, the girl pulled her arm back, and ran
behind the counter.
Emily finishes the coffee and approached the counter to pay.
No charge the girl said, she couldn't even look at her. But she did hand her a folded piece of paper,
on it said meet me at flat 7a Bushflower Walk, keys on top of the door. I finish at 11 you will be safe there.
